Year 1 Class Teacher

We are seeking to appoint a Year 1 Class Teacher who is dedicated, enthusiastic, hard-working and a conscientious individual with a passion for developing pupils’ learning in the classroom and helping them to exceed. The post is temporary for 1 academic year commencing on 28 August 2018.

Hallam Fields Primary School is a brand new one-form entry school which opened in late August 2017 to serve the Hallam Fields estate on the west side of Birstall, Leicestershire.

We are part of the Lionheart Academies Trust which is made up of a family of five schools. The lead academy, Beauchamp College is an ‘Outstanding’ 11-19 provision based in Oadby. The other four schools are based in Birstall. The Cedars Academy is an 11-19 provision, Riverside and Highcliffe are both 4-11 primary schools.

Part time KS1 1:1 LSA (25 hours per week)

We are seeking to appoint a positive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our happy and supportive team at Highcliffe Primary School.

The post will include providing 20 hours 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with ASC developmental needs, and 5 hours of general classroom support to help support other pupils within the same class.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of class teacher and SENDCo to support the delivery of high quality teaching and learning to help raise standards of achievement for all pupils within the class.

The post is for 25 hours per week, fixed term until 31 August 2018

Actual hours: Monday – Friday,  8.45a.m. – 2.45p.m. (Which includes an unpaid hour lunch break)

Essential Requirements
•    GCSE Maths and English
•    Previous experience of working with SEND  

Salary: Grade 5 actual salary £8,864 - £9,248 depending on experience
